Bakırköy Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi

Okulumuz Tarihçesi:

Okulumuz Eğitim–Öğretim faaliyetlerine Kız Sanat Okulu olarak, 1946 yılında Bakırköy'de şimdiki Taş Mektep Okulunun binasında başlamıştır. Şu anda kullandığımız binaya 1951–1952 yılında taşınmıştır. Önce Orta Sanat Okulu olarak öğretim yapan okulumuzda, 1955–1956 eğitim-öğretim yılında Bakırköy Kız Enstitüsü olarak kültür derslerine de ağırlık verilmiş, eğitim ve öğretim daha da mükemmelleştirilmiştir. Kız Sanat Enstitüsü Orta kısmı 1974–1975 öğretim yılında Bakırköy Kız Meslek Lisesi ve Pratik Kız Sanat Okulu olarak Eğitim ve Öğretimini sürdürmüştür. 1986 yılından itibaren 3308 sayılı Çıraklık ve Meslek Eğitimi Kanunu doğrultusunda  alanını tanıma, çalışma hayatına hazırlanma ve nitelikli eleman yetiştirme programlarıyla Eğitim-Öğretime devam etmiştir.

1986–1987 öğretim yılında yeni binamız açılarak hizmete girmiştir. Ana binamız idare odaları, derslikler, bilgisayar laboratuvarı, atölyeler, öğretmenler odasından oluşmaktadır. Yeni binamız idare odaları, derslikler, anaokulu, rehberlik odası, öğretmenler odası ile Konferans Salonundan oluşmaktadır. 1990–1991 öğretim yılında okulumuz bünyesinde Büro Yönetimi ve Sekreterlik bölümü açılarak Anadolu Kız Meslek Lisesi olmuştur. 2008- 2009 eğitim ve öğretim yılında okulumuzun ismi Bakırköy Kız Teknik ve Meslek Lisesi olarak değiştirilmiştir. 2014–2015 öğretim yılı itibariyle de okulumuz Bakırköy Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi adıyla devam ermiştir. Okulumuz 2018-2019 Eğitim ve Öğretim yılında Çok Programlı Anadolu Lisesine dönüştürülerek bünyesine Anadolu Lisesi eklenmiştir. Aynı yıl Muhasebe ve Finansman Alanı kapanmıştır. 2019 yılında tekrar Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesine dönüştürülmüş olarak faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.

School History:

The school, named Bakırköy Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (Bakirköy Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi) was founded in 1946. The school is located in European part of Istanbul/Turkey. Istanbul has 17.000.000 people and formerly known as Byzantium and Constantinople, is the most populated city in Turkey and is country’s economic, cultural and historic centre. Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosporus strait (which separates Europe and Asia) between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. There are 700 students aged between 15-19 years at high school part and 36 pupils aged between 3-6 years at our kindergarten. There are 94 teachers at our school and 2 teachers in kindergarten.

We have 9 departments at our school. These are; Family and Consumer Services, ICT Technology, Office services, Child Education and Growth, Graphic and Design, Food and Beverage Services, Fashion Design Technology, Social Care and Handicraft Department. The students are having vocational education in these areas.

Bakırköy MTAL Kindergarten, evaluating children’s physical, mental and psychological development and individual differences, using their potential in the right direction by increasing their self-confidence, creativity and desire to learn, high life success and academic success, speaking English like a native language, happy and able to be themselves, aiming to be “THE BEST”.

The schools is equipped with a backyard and a sport hall. The teachers are highly motivated, which makes working with students much easier. The school is ranked as excellent on a regional level.

Our Kindergarten teachers and manager are well experienced about E.U projects and E-Twinning projects. We implied 5 E-Twinning projects in order to help the students to develop their skills and competencies with the method of formal and non-formal education. The school is working regularly with young people within the Assistant of our Child and Growth Departments students. They work with our pupils in the kindergarten. In this matter, the students are able to realize that the knowledge of foreign languages is in their benefit, it makes them easier to change and interact with other young people of their age and changing ideas, feelings, emotions much easier. The students are divided in two groups in the school, one is 5-6 year-olds class and, and the other is the 3-4 year-olds class. We want to give an opportunity to our pupils to gain more information and knowledge of the life skills, the literature, the customs and traditions of the Turkey, besides learning English.
